Thank you to everyone who responded to my "sick and tired" post. They continue to be insprirational to me. So many good comeback lines too.

I am back to feeling empowered by my decision not to do chemo. I am dealing with having to put my parents aside, so to speak, until I am ready to deal with them. All of my energies need to be devoted to me and my husband and kids. They definitely don't need to be spent on the extra stress my parents provide.

I have been feeling so good the last few days with each day being better than the day before. I can't remember the last time I felt this good. It is almost too good to be true.

Heres to happy days and better tomorrows!!

I definitely think you are doing exactly the right thing for you.

I had a very similar situation - my husband's mother actually wished me dead, if you can believe that...so we have had nothing to do with her or his father for almost a year now. Cutting the toxic relationships out are as vital as cutting out the cancer for sure.

I am so glad to hear you are feeling fantastic...enjoy every second, you deserve it!

All my best,

You have made the right decision. I received only 4 out of 12 post op chemo treatments, because my body also could not handle any more.
Try to concentrate on those that support you.
