My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 97, five years ago it spread to her liver, spine and other areas. They've refered her to hospice a few years back. Been told more than once you have a few months left. She is now with a oncologist she likes who has mentioned that she is his longest living patient. My mom is curious if there is anyone else out there that is or knows someone who has had liver cancer this long and survived. Thanks for your response.

    Hello,

You may want to search for other members within the CSN and possibly post on the Breast Cancer discussion board as their are many members on the Breast Cancer Discussion board with breast cancer that has metastasized to the liver. The easiest way to locate other members with similar cancer types is to type keywords (such as "liver cancer metastasis", "metastatic breast cancer", etc.) on the search bar at the top of the home page. You can refine your search by clicking on the different categories of content listed below the list of keyword matches that you get from your search. The major categories of content on CSN are discussion boards, personal web pages, etc. For example, if you are looking for a specific posting on a discussion board, you can limit your search to discussion boards only by clicking on the "discussion area" category. Remember that you must be logged in if you want to post anything to a discussion boards, view personal web pages, get into the chat room, browse the Expressions Gallery, etc.

I hope this information has been helpful.

    All the best,
