How are you? I am curious if you went under the gamma knife. My doctors put my on hold as I have had so many problems.cschell said:Hi Cindy,I'm new to all of this, but I just had surgery 2 weeks ago for melanoma on my brain. I had it a couple years back on my head but not on the brain,.We will be talking the gamma knife in a couple of weeks with the docs.

Hi.I am reading up on this stuff as my Dad had surgery to remove a tumor on his brain 6 weeks ago. He was pretty weak after and still had 2 other tumors. He was to go back for the gammonife, but had a problem arise with swelling in his brain on Friday. Turns out in 6 weeks he has developed 4 more large tumors on the brain and one in his small intestine. It is spreading fast and they want to do whole brain radiation. I just wonder how you all are doing and would like to encourage that you stay on top of it, cuz doctors sometimes don't.
God Bless you.

I just got released from the hospital from having a tumor removed. It is Melanoma again. So they were able to get it out so I am looking at whole brain radiation.
