My husband has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. It has matastasized to the bone. His left hip broke one morning. The doctor did a partial hip replacement and biopsied a piece and it was the same cancer. Now we have found a knot on his right arm. The doctor said it was consistent with the cancer. We've been through removal of esophagus, chemo and radiation. They do not want to do more. We do not want to quit fighting. he is only 52 yrs. old. Has anyone been through this type of cancer? Please talk to us !

    Please hang in there!
I am a 23 yr. old cancer survivor. I had a different cancer than your husband, but I wanted to provide some words of encouragement. It is imperative that you look into clinical trials and/or seek a second, third, or even fourth opinion for your husband. You must NOT give up. Anything is possible with prayer my friend. Get online and find a doctor / trial that will give you hope. I get very angry when doctors try to rob us of hope with their realism. I understand the severity of the disease, but if we don't have hope, we have nothing. Please keep up posted on the latest. I will be praying for you along with my family. With God, all things are possible. Remember that.

I just want to start off by saying that God is the best doctor I have seen!!! I have seen cases where doctors give up hope, but because of prayer and God, people are healed. Do not give up hope!!! Sometimes we are tested by God. Trust in him and continue to ask for healing. God's will be done and I will be praying of your husbands recovery. Also, get a doctor who will help. They may be few and far between but they are there. God bless.
