Hi there....well, you all have heard the story of my "jigglers" and how I finally have an awesome prosthesis! Well....I should have "listened" to my surgeon and not rushed it....I didn't consider three months rushing it....however...after only a week with my new cool awesome prosthesis I am in PAIN!!!
Started hurting a bit here and there and then YEOWWW!!!! Had to get the darn thing off right NOW! So, I'm letting my new cool awesome prosthesis rest in the fancy box it came in and I'm "letting it all hang out" so to speak! I always was a slow learner. However.....you won't hear about me telling my surgeon I did this....no way! I don't have to see him again til June and I'm planning to be better by then. It's bad enough listening to my husband tell me...."He told you so!". Anyway, have a great week....just wanted to share my latest adventures with you all. God bless,Dee

Sorry you're not feeling great. Sometimes we have to learn things the hard way. At least you were able to see how great you look with your new boob! Put it in a safe place. This will give you something to look foward to using in the future! Keep in touch! Cathy

    Hi Cathy,
Thank you! I'm learning....slowly but surely. I ought to insure this "boob" they cost so much....thank God for insurance. But they only give you one every two years....so they have to last! Wonder how they came upon a two year number....strange? Oh well, at least they cover it for that.
Hope you're having a good week. Take care,
    Dee

    Hi Dee,
I too have made a few mistakes but I look at it this way, it gives everyone the chance to say "told you so". I am getting nipples this Thursday! This reconstruction stuff takes a while. Keep that great attitude! Angel Smiles, Denise

Hi Denise. I'm Cathy. I had my nipple reconstructed Feb. 2. It's amazing what they can do. It remains very large 2-3 times larger than my other one but it take approx. 3 mos. to shrink in half. Then I get the tattoo and he ties the nipple somehow to make it look like the other one. There is an end in site! Good luck with your surgery. Keep in touch. Cathy
