    This is a

This is a part of medicine which still needs a lot of research. I did a course last year about the microbiome. For several months now I have the stool testing for bacteria on my list for Papa to check if there are more inflammatory bacteria in his gut or not. There are also hints that it influences or causes diseases like MS. We are just at the beginning to find out our gut feeling ;)

    That is great, Tueffel!!!

That is great, Tueffel!!!  Way to be pro-active.  It is personalized medicine for sure.

For years many cancer patients have taken care of themselves while in/out of treatment by focusing on their gut health.  Thought is with cancer patients "Clean out and keep the basement (gut) clean and swept."  Science is way behind.  A good prebiotic is a great start.

I focus on some of the things mentioned in the article now.  I have additional things to discuss with my surgeon next appt for sure.  He always asks me about the things I do off label and about IVC.  He is a big advocate of gut health.

    New research rabbit hole

I have been reading alot about this since my dad has alot of trouble with UTI's so he is on a low dose antibiotic all the time which has gotten me worried about what that will do to his gut health . It's all very intresting and this article is a great read and it just always amazes me how far behind some medical research truely is . I have never heard a doctor mention this as important which is just really amazing to me .
