    Forever in our Pockets

P-51 was a WW II fighter plane. Phrannie51 reminded me of a true Fighter and was also nicknamed P-51 by others.

She will forever be in our Pockets.

This really sucks. She was a valuable member of the community who always helped others and always kept an upbeat attitude. I had been wondering if she was OK because I hadn't seen her post in awhile.

So saddened to hear that. I

So saddened to hear that. I had the same type of cancer (NPC), treated the same year (2012), but she was a few months “ahead” so she helped me a lot with some very good advices and encouragements. I was under the impression that the latest treatment was working, so this came as a shock for me. She was my inspiration and she is greatly missed!

    Oh, No..........

Thank you for letting us know, DJ. I had been hoping that her not posting much was a sign that she was doing well. I was honored to have lunch with her and her husband on one of their Az visits. Such a fun and sweet lady. She will surely be missed.

    So sad to hear

I rarely post but check in from time to time to see how folks are doing.  She helped me during my battle in 2012.  Was so shocked to see this.

    So sorry to hear this...

I'm so sorry to hear this. Although I've not had cancer I did have a pre-cancerous lesion on my tongue which was treated in 2013. When I found out I was going to need a biopsy because I may have tongue cancer I worked myself up into such a state of extreme anxiety that I thought I was going crazy. I resorted to Dr Google and found myself posting here.

In my darkest hours several people here helped to calm me down and got me to pull myself together. Phrannie was one of those people and I distinctly remember her telling me to calm myself and "it's not cancer unless a doctor tells you it is" - a CSN moto that I have taken into real life situations over the years.

The kindness and warmth Phrannie (and everyone else) showed me made such a difference on that long, dark winter night. I have always rememberd it and over the years I have continued to check back quietly to see how you are all doing.

The loss of Phrannie is such a huge blow and I'm so sorry to hear it.

RIP to Phrannie and I'll be keeping her and her family and friends in my thoughts.

    Just Seeing This

This one has shocked me to the core.  Phrannie and I go back to almost the same time.  She supported me and it was hard to watch her go through the illness a second time.

    RIP dear friend.

    Phrannie

So sorry to hear, i haven't checked in in a long time and i am just seeing this. Phrannie was so supportive of all who came here and certainly was of me when i rode the bus 4 yrs ago. I'm going to try to check in more and lend a supportive word now and again. If we were all just a little more like Phrannie, , this site would be the most supportive on the web. Thoughts of comfort to her family and friends.

    heartbreaking

Phrannie was amazing. I often marveled at her gift for saying just the right thing and offering relevant advice and support for so many people here, including myself.

The value of her kindness cannot be overstated. She was an absolute treasure and I'm so sad to hear of her passing.

    RIP Phrannie

I haven't checked in for some time, but I was also one of the 'class of 2012' and like Tommyodavey (hey Tommy - not sure if you remember but I was a fellow MEC gang member) came on here at a fairly similar time to Phrannie. She was a feisty, upbeat, brave and interesting lady and I am incredibly sad to hear she has passed.

My impression of Phrannie was she had lived the equivalent of several lives, and that she got the most out of single every day she had on this earth, even when things were tough.

RIP Phrannie, the world is a little less bright for losing you.

    RIP

I havent checked in for a while. I am saddened to see her go. She was a great source of encouragement, hope, and helped me tremendously during my battle against this in late 2015.
