I am sure it depends on your

I am sure it depends on your doctor and also how many days your average cycle lasts. I would call their office and make sure it isn't an issue.  Given that the procedure also can make you bleed i would be surprised if they cancelled your procedure. Do yourself a favor and call. Good luck with your procedure

    Just an opinion

But I can't see why they would cancel.   The procedurei itself will produce some blood so they are prepared to deal with that.  And it is hard for them to reschedule at the facility too.   I read the descriiption from the Mayo Clinic and it doesn't mention being on your period.   So it's probably not an issue

I would definitely call and ask.  This is just to help with the waiting.

    D&C and hysteroscopy

I hope your procedure isn't delayed - I know you've been anxious about it for a while. I've had two D&C and hysteroscopies for unusual bleeding. The first, about a year after menopause, was due to a benign polyp (keeping my fingers crossed that you have something equally benign). The second, unfortunately, led to my cancer diagnosis.

But if you do have the procedure as scheduled, you should be fine to have a lovely weekend in your new RV with your family. After my first D&C and hysteroscopy, I came home and dug out the canna bulbs from my flower garden. I had moved to a condo by the time I had the second one, so I didn't do anything that ambitious, but I still felt okay.

I had a polypectomy and fibroidectomy done during my hysteroscopy and D&C, and while I worked from home the next day, it turned out to be an unnecessary precaution, I was fine :)
