MRI Results

I got my MRI results this week and am pleased to report that I'm no longer Stage IV uterine, or apparently any stage uterine at all. The retroperitoneal lymph node mets were killed off by the CyberKnife treatments I had in January and nothing new has come up, so I'm guardedly optimistic on that count. In other news, the still-unidentfied ("probably of intestinal origin") pelvic tumor has shrunk back down to 8 cm, the size it was in April before it blew up to 14 cm and landed me in the hospital. Of course I'd hoped it would be gone entirely, but in retrospect I'm not sure how realistic that was given the original size. I just had my 6th round of Keytruda and am tolerating it well other than some mild side effects, so I'm praying the d**n thing will eventually shrink itself right out of existence. Meanwhile I'm grateful for the results and wanted to share some positive news with you.

I love this news!
Outstanding!! All things moving in the right direction, AND you're feeling ok too? Cause for celebration. Back when we're not whooping it up, I'd loveto ask about the mild side effects of Keytruda, and more about cyberknife, as I know both of those are going to be something I'll need to be read up on when the time comes. But in the meantime, FIESTA!

I’m jumping up and down even on my broken ankle! Praise the Lord! Never give up hope!
Did I miss something here? When did you break your ankle? How? I'm so sorry things keep happening to you like they have. Stop it already!

Not to hijacj Bobbi’s good news but I broke it about 3 weeks ago. My ankle just rolled on me on a Manhattan street after a wonderful evening. It’s minor, not a cast or anything but yes, just another thing to deal with right? Just call me Job!

Oh my! I'm so sorry to hear that, Susan. My ankle used to roll out from under me, too, until I had it reconstructed with bone anchors. Will they eventually have to do something like that with you?
