I’ve been two weeks in the hospital and I’m getting out today and going to Rehab to regain my strength. We’ve been chasing pain in my butt for a few months. It was hard to pin down. Good news was that it wasn’t cancer. It was an infection turned into an abscess which was causing pressure pain. Finally a drainage tube was inserted into my rectum and along with antibiotics my problem has been resolved. Glad to get out of here. The food has been great as has been the entire staff. Looks like I’ll get too see some summer after all. |

Good News!
Tunadog, I am so happy you are getting discharged from the hospital! I have been so worried about you. I hope your stay in Rehab is quick, that the food there is good as well, and that you get to enjoy the comfort of your own bed very soon. Thanks for the update!!! Hugs.

Hospital beds
I don't know about you, but I could not sleep in the hospital beds. I think all hospitals purchase the exact same mattresses since I was in 2 hospitals in different states and the beds were both awful. The nurses brought in a recliner for me to sleep in.
Sure was nice to be home.
