Abunai

Hi all,
This is Cathy, Abunai's wife.
Dave has been on hospice since Wednesday, and has had good and not so good days. Today was an okay day, and he's been able to talk and get some thoughts across. He wanted me to tell you what is going on, and that he loves you all. He gained a lot of strength from this board and the people on it. You have become dear friends that he honesty cares about, and wishes the best for.
With love,
Cathy

Hi Cathy, Wish you both
Hi Cathy, Wish you both strength and more enjoyable days togehter. Please tell Dave that thank him for sharing his journey here and I am always impressed by his positive attitude on fighting this disease. I have been wishing the new treament would work for him. Can’t imagine how much you two have been thru for the past two years.
Prayer for you both, please take care of yourself too.

Thanks to nurses and doctors in GB,
We have Hospice here in the US. After my Dx and 2 surgeries, I went through the local Volunteer Training for 13 Wednesday afternoons. I wanted to know what I might eventually encounter; and even was assigned a patient.
Four years ago, my M-i-L was at the end of her bout with pancreatic cancer and I only have wonderful things to say about what hospice can do Dave and the rest of his family.
I am so sorry Dave has reached this benchmark, and wish you only wonderful days and nights together. Create more memories.
With hugs and love,
donna_lee
