in Kidney Cancer #1

There seem to be lots of us having scans around this time. I have my first scan after starting treatment this Friday. I am pretty nervous!! I know you all understand what this feels like. I am thrilled for Mark and Amy who have seen some success from their treatment. I am a bit jealous that I am not on ipi/nivo too! I know that is still an option for me in the future. I will let you know what happens. Thank you all for your support!

    Prayers for good results!

    I hope and pray that you have positive results from your treatment. I just got my final combo infusion yesterday and I have scans scheduled for 8/31. I will Keep you in my prayers.

    Waiting for results

    Scan is done. I see the Dr Thursday. I did not ask for a phone call with results. I know there is a chance of suedo growth with immunotherapy (growth before shrinkage) so I thought I would wait to get results with the Dr. If I can stay in the present and not make up scenarios in my head, I do ok. I try. I start my new job as art teacher/therapist at an alternative school tomorrow. It's 3 hours a week. It will give me something to do and I can worry about helping the kids at the school instead of thinking of myself. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers.
