Anyone currently on a clinical trial?? If so how is it going??

If the current treatment for my mom isn't working. We'll most likely try this Clinical trial of two brand new immunotherapy drugs that are taken at the same time. (Sorry can't remember the exact name of the trial)

I was hoping someone on here has experience with it or any other Clincal trials.

Thanks and god bless

    Hi Anthony

    Hi Anthony

I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma cancer in the lung. Found by chance and no known primary. My prognosis was not good with traditional treatment.

Fortunately there were a few places left on a clinical trial.

    The Study:-

A Phase 3 Randomized, double blind, Placebo-Controlled study of Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) in combination with Epacadostat or Placebo in subjects with Unresectable or Metastatic Melanoma

    Study Sponsor:-

    Incyte Corporation.

    Execution of Study:

    Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp

My results have been incredibly positive.

The smaller tumors have disappeared and the large one which was nearly 5cm has reduced significantly and now down to 8mm.

For me the trial has been amazing and life saving.

I wish you all the best and hope that if you manage get onto an immunotherapy trial the results are as positive as mine have been.
