Translocation renal cell?

in Kidney Cancer #1

I am 30 years old. Got diagnosed with kidney cancer during my pregnancy. I am two weeks post op From partial nephrectomy. We were thinking clear cell the whole time. Pathology sent The tumor to MD Anderson because the pathologist locally couldn’t determine between papillary cell or translocation. Based off what I’ve seen here and other places, i am thinking translocation because of my age. I am very very worried. I have three young kids. My tumor was 1.4 cm with clear margins. Anyone have any experience with this? I know it’s rare. Still waiting on final pathology.

    Diagnosed too with translocation.

    I too had translocation rcc removed back in July 2017.  Mine was 4cm with focal paranephric fat invasion Stage t3a.  Currently get scans every three months.  Two clean scans so far.  Stay on top of it but you should be good considering the size.  I assume you were stage 1a? Definitely confirm that as that will dictate how many scans you get a year.  I am 35 as well but life is life.  Keep living keep enjoying and keep thriving!   Nice to meet another translocation Rcc!   There are now at least 5 of us On this site.  Just search for translocation.  And we are 1 and 10 million.
