    Fascinating stuff. The mention of glycine is interesting in CRCs as KRAS G12D is the substitution of a glycine by an aspartic acid and G12V is the substituion of a glycine by a valine. Maybe excess glycine results in a mutation? I'm sure that we could figure out the pathway to this but it may be that excess of some chemicals can make it easier for mutations to happen.

    mikenh you are so darn smart.  Seriously. 

    I looked at the foods that contain glycine, unfortunately for me I eat a lot of them.  Don’t know how much a person can possibly give up!

    hopefully this dis overly will need to something that will help all of us.
