Nothing to do with prostates or cancer, but when I navigate to CSN forums I get the following message: Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$new_replies in template_preprocess_forum_topic_list() (line 1205 of /mnt/resource/www/html/modules/forum/forum.module). |

A guess
My guess is that when the Thought Police threw that thread in the trash a few days ago they missed a little electronic housekeeping. I am seeing it as well. The Voice of Oz will soon explain that "there is nothing to see here, move along folks." Don't ask questions, and smile.

Ah, what a relief to know I am not alone! I did get an email from the support team saying they couldn't reproduce the problem. Good news is it doesn't interfere with reading and posting in the forum, just a glitch. I suspect maybe next time I clear the cache it may go poof.

The support team
has a problem...
But, as already stated, the issue is pretty irrelevant to us, the users.

Cushions,
For being an IT guru, maybe you can help this forum in providing a better search enginee. We have requested to previous CSN's supervisors (Simone before Anne) but nothing has been done since 2011. The site needs a feature that allows to search entries by each member. I gave the idea of adding such button at the "my page" next to the expressions, blogs, etc.
This forum search engine provides 800 posts under VGama but if I use the full name VascodaGama I get only 690 entries, when in reality I have 3 times that much. You cannot get a list of all your entries in this forum so that you keep adding threads with no fluidity in its contents, if the matter relates to what has been discussed in a different thread.

IT GEEK yes, Guru, far from :)
This site has a very limited search function and I suspect runs on an older forum engine.
Google was not our friend here as it just returned a bazzilion entries in standard format. DuckDuckGo however returned the following useful and most likely "hidden from users eyes" URLS.
https://csn.cancer.org/forum/126/search?body=vgama&title
https://csn.cancer.org/forum/126/search?body=vascodagama&title
These give tidy extracts of your posts - just click last to get the most recent.
Will that help?

IT genius
You are more than a simple guru. You are a genius with two big eyes. I wonder if the same principle can provide a list of entries by the comment's title instead of the threads title.
There is a Portuguese proverb that applies well to your "hidden from users eyes" instruction. It says: "... em terra de cegos, quem tem olho e' rei". It signifies; "... in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is King ...". Surely it refers to you.

I tried https://csn.cancer.org/forum/126/search?body=vascodagama&body but that gave the same results. Will have a dig when I get back from holiday.

There is actually a short story, in English
titled "in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is King". I had to read it in high school in the 1960's. Actually, the blind figured out how to defeat him.

ASAdvocate,
We are from the same generation and surely both have experienced at sometime in our life the true meaning of this proverb. I didn't know that the English did a story on the matter but it doesn't surprise me. You like the underdog to win always. LoL

Appears to be a new glitch, words like glass and association are now changed to gl*** and ***ociation. Are the CSN software folks paying ANY attention?

Pray not; at least the posts are not disappearing in the night, Bolshevik-style.
