Can you help me?

Currently I have carboplatin and taxol to reduce tumors. My oncologist said it's the last chance to have surgery.

I wanted to know who had carboplatin and taxol with good result to reduce endometrial adenocarcinoma?

In case the surgery is impossible can you tell me what treatment is possible to prevent cancer from growing up?

    Chemo & Surg

    Hi there Sandrine04,

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but just in case...About 8 years ago I had a very aggressive cancer - undifferentiated small cell uterine cancer.  I had both chemo (Cisplatin was one, I don't recall the others) and concurrent radiation treatments before I was able to have surgery to remove tumors.  I had excellent care at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.  It is do-able.

    Wishing you the very best,

    Susan

    Chemo and surgery

Hi, sorry I'm posting a little late - the last 9 months for me were pretty bare able - I had a full radical hysterectomy, had my port put in the next day 3 weeks later I started chemo taxol and carbo (6 rounds) 3 weeks after I had 25 rounds of external radiation M-Fri for 5 weeks. 3 weeks later I had brachytherapy ( internal radiation) 2 one week and 2 the following week. I was diagnosed in May 2016- I am now in remission or cancer Free. For the most part I feel great- my neuropathy on my feet and the fatigue are what get me - I need my maps I have trouble getting my feet going and when shopping I need my breaks - diarhea is controlled with Imodium as needed. Best of luck- sending prayers you way
