Any Military Spouses (current or former) or Anyone In these Communities?

My husband is up for orders this summer.  I am in "EFMP", and was wondering if the following communities (the doc can be 60 minutes away) had gyn oncologists that take Tricare Standard:

- Omaha, NE

- Colorado Springs, CO

- San Antonio, TX

- Washington D.C.

    HI

Jodi,  I would call the insurance company itself, if possible.  They should be able to give you that info.  Good luck with that..

I wish it would work that way

I wish it would work that way :).  It would be easier that way, but where we live is decided by some random dude, after we tell him that there are doctors there.

Yep, we have had to do it

Yep, we have had to do it that way with my son, who has autism.  Insurance doesn't know anything about what services are there, you have to go to patients.

    try website

have you gone to their web site?

go to Tricare.com, then find a doctor, follow the ptompts  to narrow down the search.

you might also try their nurse line 1-800 Tricare request to be assigned a case manager.  They can do the legwork for you,

    Good Luck
