The Oncologist said my cancer is grade 3, agresive, no stage yet, robotic surgery or regular if something goes wrong, send me to CT scan of pelvic, abdomen with infusion.

    Date for surgery May 11.

Good luck to all of us my friends.

    CT Scan

I assume from your comment that you will be having a CT scan with contrast before your surgery. That is a good thing as then the surgeon will have a heads up as to what he/she might expect to find. You will probably have another one at some point after surgery so your doctor will have a new baseline for any subsequent findings. At least this was my experience.

    sounds the same as me

I had the same protocol,  CT scan with contrast (infusion) before. Gave the surgeon more informatoin to go by.  and then CT scans after treatment every 3 months, now every 6months in the second year.  I have changed from CT Scans to MRI as my insurance has allowed that and no radiation with CT Scans.

Mine was grade 3,  not USPC or MMT,  just regular grade 3.  I did have two second opinions at major cancer hospitals to review the biospy report from surgery as the first second opinion from Dana Farber disagreed and discussed with myh local oncologist.  They agreed to send to Sloan Kittery who agreed with Dana.  Don't be afraid to ask to go for a second opinion as alot of cancer diagnosis and treatment is subjective to what the individual sees.

sounds like things are all on track.  Knowledge as you acquire it will help put things into perspective

    Thank you all.

Do you follow any diets? I started to eat only fruits and vegetables, and this is fine with me, cause all my life I've been fan of the healthy eating.

Ironically did not help me ...
