Hi Cynthia and everyone thanks for your kind thoughts.  My latest news is I am doing ok at present, taking one day at a time.  I have just been admitted to palliative care (home nursing) with weekly visits from palliative care doctors.  2 of them came and saw me yesterday, they asked a lot of questions and examined me.  I was impressed with their attitudes and level of care.  One of them was a senior palliative care specialist and he checked my scans and latest reports.  There main focus was concentrated on pain control and making feel comfortable with what to expect in the future.  They did not give me any time frame and I did not ask them either. I'd rather not know how long this end stage process may take.  I am having a lot of discomfort from my large liver tumor which is pressing on my stomach.   As you know I do not post often because I feel everybody else seem to provide the best advice especially chemo treatments to the new people.   I feel my poor prognosis does not help those who are still battling with this disease.   I will let you know what happens from now on. I am blessed to have a loving family who are caring me.  My best wishes and hugs to everyone.

I am so sorry for what you are going through, it is truly tough stuff.  May you be surrounded with love, comfort, good medical care and be pain free as you enter this next phase of your journey.

Peace and Love to you and your family - Tina

to post as much (or as little) as feels right for you.  We all walk this path together, and eventually every single one of us will be at the stage of the journey at which you now find yourself.  I personallly have found it very helpful, actually comforting, to share the journey with those who have gone ahead of me.  It's like having little lanterns on a dark path, pointing the way to go.  I don't know, maybe that seems morbid to some.  But dying is a part of life, and I think it helps a little to share that experience, as best we can.  It makes me very sad, but that's also a natural part of life.  So whatever choice you make, please know that we all support you and want only what is best for you.  Many hugs~AA
