    full brain rads and flying.
I have been able to fly a couple of times since my diagnosis of GBM stage 4 last aug , full brain rad's shrunk my tumor to from 4 cm - 2 cm , gamma knife was used to try and kill the tumor , i am currently using Dexamethasone to keep the edema at bay , and have had no issues while traveling , i dont know of a general rule as far as flying, ask your Oncologist for a recommendation.

    Good Luck Ken

    I didn't know there needed
I didn't know there needed to be/was a rule, but I have flown without issue. Sometimes the pressure is a bit intense, but otherwise, no issue.

    No worries if no edema
My sister flew home 2 days after her surgery; she also flew home every other week end while having radiation. Her MRI's are stable. She is a jet-setter: went to Egypt for the ancient pharaohs; she now flew to Europe with a friend.

    Ten days after surgery
We live in Brazil and my 38 year old son had his tumor (insular glioma) removed at a hospital in Montpelier, France in December 2011. He flew back to Brazil ten days after the surgery with no problem whatsoever. Since then he has also made a few short flights: doctors never restricted flying.
