i might get some yoga in early in the mornings and mass on sunday.
the priest has been praying for me, i want to thank the school community for all the support and prayers. its our local school mass this sunday morning.
we are taking vegan rumballs, they are sensational.
Meeting my cousin and her hubby at the airport on Sat., during their layover from vacation in Maine. Hope to see pictures.
May watch my son's VB game Sat. am.
One of my administrator's at work graciously had a cleaning service come to our house this week so I can focus on some fun things to do. (It really needed the TLC)
Plant a few more annuals....
Completed my taxes yesterday-big relief and refund!
Walking and weights continue. Trying to get courage to ride my bike!
Alright Barb! The cleaning service gets a big thumbs up! Ask them if they'll travel to NY! I've got my annuals in but the tornado is still currently blowing through my house at rapid speed. What a great gift. Enjoy the peace of mind, your walks and your bike ride=)
Well it's Father's Day weekend and my 13 year old daughter is planning a day trip outing for us on Sunday to Hershey Park. It's a large amusement park. My son is leaving that day for a week at the beach with his best friend. Other than that-- just plan to lounge around our pool and soak up some sunshine. Have a good weekend!
Wish we weren't in the middle of a typical Bristish early summer with all four deasons occuring within an hour and could think about a beach trip myself.
Instead its loads of sports on TV- the wife and daughter are away so watching sprots with my son. Newe Zealand is playing rugby against England (fabulous game- you Americans should try it some time!) and England is playing Sweden at football (the Euros are on as Pepe I am sure you are aware!)
Match yesterday? Gorgeous Goal of Silva!. Concerning to whether ,you always will have Gibraltar ! hahaha! it's just a joke due to the polemic lately!
Well I'm watching Sweden vs England right now , wish you a very good luck Steve!
hugs my friend ! oeoeoeoe oe oe! LOL.
Family picnic! 60 something people, all wearing red shirts to celebrate our Polish heritage. We usually get the same people but this year we're getting our entire branch from my mom's brother! It's so nice to have the whole family of cousins, second cousins, third cousins, all in one place. My cousin Maureen and I are running the games. We've got balloon games, our traditional egg and waterballoon tosses and a family fun (swing until you hit) softball game lined up! Park has a carousel so we're all going on that too.
Just wondering how a rumball can be vegan? I'll spend the weekend watching the 16 year old's softball tournament. Luckily the weather here is going to be beautiful - upper 70s and lots of sunshine. Not a bad excuse to loaf around for two days!
last weekend with Roberts family, we get to play host to his mom(again) and his dad(who couldn't come last weekend). I can't take off any more days from work, so he will have to entertain them himself. Monday we go to UAB for second opinion.
Happy Weekend all!
We are having another quiet weekend. Will do something for fathers day, Just not sure what. Going on a 'Mystery Cruise' with the sports car club, Thursday, so that will be our "big" adventure for this week.
Safe and healthy weekend,
Judy
Since the platetlets were too low for chemo #8 and it was moved to next week - I was told by Onc to get plenty of rest so I can "grow" some new ones. Also making a nice Father's Day dinner for my husband and famly. Not very exciting but that's ok for now!
in a beautiful nature preserve in Patterson, NY. Tomorrow, we hope to get out in our kayaks. Yesterday, we biked, and might get on our bikes again on Sunday. We want to take advantage of the beautiful weather.
Taking hubby out for Father's Day although we have no kids. It's been sooo boring since - finished the book. My mom gets scans next week. (Oh Joy!) This time of year stresses everyone out in my family and everyone becomes quite beechy. I will let you know something. In the meantime pray for her. Pray for my family and pray that I don't stress eat myself up a pants size again.
Wish I could trade places with you at the beech house Pepe.
My weekend startted with a pelvic ultrasound, followed last night with an over-the-top wedding that included 250 guests, a boy's choir at the church, and 4 rolls royces for the.wedding party. Not the way I would choose to spend money (if I had that kind of money) but an experience, nonetheless. Today is lunch with a friend, much simpler venue. Tomorrow is mass and the baptism of a friend's grandson. Then, I prepare for liver biopsy on Monday.
Full weekend with lots of good things.
I hope everyone has something that brings joy in their weekend.
Well, this is kinda off the wall, but we went to see Walenda do his tightroap walk across Niagara Falls....it truly was amazing to see. Hit the casinos, had way too much to eat...
trying to find my happy, lost it somewhere last week...but I'm determined to find it again. Cooked breakfast for my husband and son and daughter in law, that made me happy. Going for a haircut after church, birthday for m-i-l and dad for father's day.
I've been crazy busy this weekend. Spent all day Friday working hard. Today I worked more and then we had dinner with our son and his lovely wife.
All the work was getting ready to head out for a mission trip tomorrow with the youth. We will be gone all week doing home repairs, yard work, cleaning, etc. It's my first time on this mission trip, and I'm excited! So I will be off the board until next Saturday or Sunday, depending on how tired I am.
i traveled to another state to spend time with my father, whom i have not seen much due to the several months of chemo. he is not in good shape...two recent falls and limping, in lots of pain daily, and very lonely since my mom died two years ago. the one thing he enjoys is fishing, and he wanted me to go to the lake with him to fish on friday, which i did, although i am not much on that activity and get sinus allergies if i spend prolonged time outdoors in this part of the country. so today woke up with nosebleeds from sinuses due to the time spent outdoors, but got through the day. tomorrow we are cooking a turkey and fresh blackberry cobbler for dessert, and then i leave to go back home. Am very, very tired from activity i am not used to due to the energy i seemed to have lost in seven months of chemo. however, i realize that this could be our last father's day together so trying to remain calm and enjoy it.

its a bit of a lie
they are made of almonds, dates, vanilla essence, stevia and cacao.
they look like rumballs, they taste great.
handed out heaps at morning tea after mass.
we had alot of fun making them before church.
had about 20 left over so gave them to the priest, he smiled and said i love almonds.
i wish i had slipped some rum in, but then i could not of given them to the kids and the adults.
these are an excellent healthy treat. its one of the only ones my kids get when they are with me.
to answer your question, rum is vegatable based, so it should be in.
hugs,
pete
