    Walking and who knows!
The healing from my left lung lobectomy is uncomfortable but the walk I need to take gets me to different parks in my area. Lots
ofp green and fresh air which is good for the soul and spirits.
Who knows how my 20 and 22 will honor me for Mom's day-I have hinted for annuals to plant in our window boxes....
Monday is trip to oncologist to discuss surguries/tumors board review-always a stressful day.:(-
Anyways its fun to here what others have planned :-)

    Hi barb !
Hope a fast healing ,glad you enjoy of those wonderful and healthy walks, happy mothers day!
    Hugs!

Your cheers and encouragement has meant a lot to me and others! Thanks to Pete also!

We are planning to walk another Mountain trail near our home. We moved to the Mountains and have over 250 miles(600km) of local trails. We have Hundreds of miles more within 30 miles of us. We are loving our new life, and the enjoyment of living in a relaxing town.
    Best Always, mike

    Thank you Mike!
How wonderful must be to be surrounded of nature ! Enjoy your walks my friend!

    It's Rick's chemo weekend

It's Rick's chemo weekend too, so it will be a very quiet Mother's Day weekend for us. But we will try to see both of our Mom's on Sunday if he is feeling up to it. Enjoy the time with your son and the pup.

Best wishes to everyone for a nice weekend!

    Cynthia

Hi cyn , hope a happy mother,s day for both of you!
    Hugs to both!

    its mothers day here
    hi pepe,
have a great weekend with wife.

I have got my hopes up for a nice day tomorrow, its mothers day.
i have spent the afternoon cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom as i just finished reading
"clean, green and lean" by doctor crinnion. he was at the conference i went to.
so spent the afternoon cleaning the bath with non toxic cleaning products. it could almost have made it into the exercise post, it was hard work.

the kids have lovelly presents for wifey, and she wants to go out somewhere nice for lunch with her parents and kids. tomorrow should be great!

mothers day is a special day for us. seems like we celebrate it here at a different time to the rest of the world.

    hugs,
    Pete

    John Wayne
    Luckygirl2,

So funny to see your post about a John Wayne marathon. I have possibly every movie he has ever made on DVD or VHS. My family room is lined with John Wayne plates and pictures. I have a ton of memorabilia also. Just sold my "John Wayne" toilet paper. LOL! Nice to see another fan.

For this weekend, I'll probably just sit around and run up my water bill while I water the recently planted grass. We did have an hour long rain about 30 min. after the grass was planted(very unusual for the Phoenix area), so that helped some. Funny thing about this area though, the very next day the ground is bone dry.

Nothing planned for Mother's Day. Both of our mothers and fathers have passed away. Just want to talk to my kids.

Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms.

    Luv,

    Wolfen

    Wolfen, are your plates from

Wolfen, are your plates from the Franklin Mint? Just curious, I used to work there.

    weekend
I flew down to Myrtle Beach to be with a good friend who is battleing prostate cancer that has returned to him from 3 years ago and its now in his blood stream. Interesting treatment that he's getting.... it called Provenge by a company called Dendreon is the company that's making huge strides in this area of treatment.

They run his blood through a machine and pull out the white blood cells, they tell him to rest for 3 days while they send the white blood cells to Dendreon in Atlanta... and they "re-energize or super charge" the white blood cells, and then put them back into him a few days later. Its a clinical trail, but very interesting.
he showed me a web site called www.clinincalTrails.gov

    interesting.

but, the weekend is all about relaxation and re-energizing each other as we both battle a stage 4 cancer. We've been friends for over 23 years and its good to have "life talks" with each other... and we're also going to make our own "bucket list" for the two of us.
one thing on the list is to ride in a Helicopter... going to do that today!

    my best to everyone.

    Joe

    Plates
    Hi Judy,

No, I do not have any Franklin Mint plates. All but 2 of them are by an artist named Susie Morton. Each depicts a scene or a collage from one of his movies. I like them a bit better than the Franklin Mint plates and I think they are somewhat larger?. The funny thing about collecting this type of thing is that you expect them to grow in value, but it's just the opposite according to Ebay. The same is true for my Madame Alexander Dolls unless I live to be 150. And if you plan to keep them for your kids, you discover that your kids have different collecting interests.

    Have a great weekend.

    Luv,

    Wolfen

What you said about price is
