    Hi Nicolle
Please tell us some specifics...his age...country/state he lives in...type of medications/treatments he is on.

If you are in the US, you should inquire of his doctors and the hospital where he gets his treatments. They will often have a social worker who can guide you to assistance.

The info I mentioned above may help soneone here with more specific help for you.

    Hello LoveKitties thank you
Hello LoveKitties thank you for the quick reply. He is 54 years old and we live in atlanta GA.
We ask about iot at the chemo location adn they said there is not a lot of grants or exxtra money for colorectal cancer, only breast cancer. So I wanted to see if anyone knew of any other alternatives. Thank you for your help!

    help is out there
His onc's social worker should be able to help you, but here are some sites I have been successful with. I am not sure about radiation these are for chemo. You can go online to the following websites to find info about each one.

    cdfund.org
    co-payment assistance 866-552-6729
    cancercare.org
    co-pay relief 866-512-3861

At colorectalcareline.org go to resources and these are probably 20 or more to look into.
If you need more help send me a pm and I will get back to you.

    Stay strong, Gerry

    A bit more info
Organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Colon Cancer Alliance and Stupid Cancer offer a wealth of information that can help. The American Cancer Society has a comprehensive section about strategizing your financial plan of attack. The Colon Cancer Alliance offers a several resources.

Foundations – There are foundations that provide financial support to those fighting cancer. Healthwell at healthwellfoundation.org It’s a foundation for individuals with insurance, who cannot afford their copayments, coinsurance, and premiums for important medical treatments. To research other foundations, you can visit The Foundation Center.

The above information came from the http://acs.whatnext.com web site blog on financial resources.
