extensive small cell lung cancer

Hi, I would like to know if anyone went through this my wife has ext small cell lung cancer has had six cycles of cisplatin and etoposide did radiation to brain and L$ amd T12 cancer went to spine, she was sick but was able to recover now she has been in hospital for 12 days she started on a chemo drug called topotecan her blood counts will not respond low white and red blood cells 4 pints of blood 2 bags of pllates her white count is 0.6 can anyone help with this question thank you bill vicino@comcast.net
