    Playing hookie from work
Playing hookie from work tomorrow. I just came back from the grocery store. Told you I needed to slow down before I got a cold and guess what? I have a fever. Will stay home and read the book I have been trying to finish since July lol.

    State Fair
Not quite the weekend yet, but went to the Arizona State Fair this afternoon. It was Senior Day so only $2 to get in. As usual, food was expensive and not very good. I gave up rides about 30 years ago, but it's fun to watch others having a crazy good time. Our favorite thing is to play a few games, win a bunch of stuffed animals, and then walk around giving them to the small children. We did just that and the smiles on their little faces as they hug them are priceless.

Now back to reality, I'm having another one of many yard sales to make a few extra bucks.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

    Luv,

    Wolfen

    Football game tomorrow-
Football game tomorrow- small town stuff, but the teams are in the same city and major rivals. Fun times.
Then Sunday I really need to clean and clear out the garage. The window of opportunity is narrowing down, as trying to get this done before the snow falls....

my son keith's 6th birthday party ten pin bowling
i will be dressed up as a clown, should be fun.
go about 20 little kids turning up, should be fun.
told the bowling alley that now i am a strict vegan i cannot eat their fried food, so i am allowed to bring in a big platter of carrots, celery, cherry tomatoes and dips.
I still have lollies and fried foods just in case my healthy alternatives don't appeal.
    hugs,

Game # 7 of the World Series...
My hometown Texas Rangers will try and win their 1st world championship tonight - I saw my very 1st Rangers game in 1972 and the town has waited 40-years for this day to come.

I sure hope they can finally do it - it's been so nervewracking, but in a good and healthy way. I'm actually excited and it's good to be reminded what that can feel like:)

    GO Rangers!

I'll be at home watching when I get in after work. They are playing the St. Louis Cardinals, who are in St. Louis, Missouri. Playing at Busch Stadium @ 7:05pm CST.

It's a lifetime dream for the city of Arlington, Texas. Everyone has waited 40 years to live and see this day. I was only 10 years old when I saw my first game and have been waiting for the World Series Championship these past 4-decades.

I just don't talk about "Time and Patience" - I actually live it:) LOL!

    Let's GO Rangers!
