My husband, who is an inmate, was scheduled for brain surgery and wasn't able to have it due to the tumor had grown. Additionally, he has multiple liesons on his brain. They performed another biopsy on his lung. However, we won't know the outcome of that for at least another week. It's good he's coming home, but the downside is I think they are sending him home to die. They know they let the cancer go to far without any kind of treatment. They are going to begin radiation, but I don't know when. I guess they are going to leave that up to me is my guess. It took from Oct. of last year when they did x-rays till May of this year for a biopsy to diagnose the lung cancer. At which time he did not have any tumors on the brain. By June of this year, they found the tumor on the brain. NO treatment of any kind has been started. Someone please tell me a prognosis. They aren't telling me anything except they are granting the furlough and he now has multiple liesons. I don't even know where to start as far as getting things in place for him. I can't get insurance until he his home. I can't get hospice until he is home. I'm afraid of what they might not do for him knowing they are letting him come home.
