    Are either of you interested in sharing a room with anyone? I'd be happy to start a new thread about others that might be interested. I know some have already agreed to do it behind the scenes.

    Oh crap, I'll just start a thread about it anyway. A hot breakfast is included as is a 2 hour manager's reception (free appetizers and drinks, alchoholic and non) every evening. I don't know how much you have traveled but I have had many a dinners off of free appetizers when money was tight!

    My wife did find us 1/2 price tickets when they had 6-seats left, so we jumped on them. A week or two before when I was looking they were double the price she got. It was just good timing.

    We weren't able to stay at the hotel as much as we wanted to - we just could not swing it. We're supposed to be 20 minutes or so away I hear out near Lincoln Park. A dear friend is putting us up, or should I say "putting up" with us, LOL:)

    We're grateful for the accomodations because without them, we would have missed this event and I wanted to get a chance to meet everybody.

    Suzann: How is Larissa doin'? Please tell her hi from her old alumn. What a grand time we had on the patio last year - Fort Worth is still talking about it:)

    I was in Chicago for the tall ship cruises last weekend....reminded me of Halifax! (dang, I miss that place~LOWER DECK!)

    Hi Suzann!

    I will make an appearance at some point, not staying overnight though. I live 40 minutes from there so it won't be a huge deal to pop in to say hi to my long lost buddies!

    Sure do miss you and your tin foil triangle! (not to mention my Canadian sister Lisa Rose, my NC buddy Scouty (Lisa P), the Sladiches, and JoAnn & Don!)

    It's hard for me to come to these things in Oct with kids in school. Summer would be a better time, but I'll squeeze in what I can!

    Wow doctors appointment on this day that will give me results of my scan and blood tests. Wish it was the following weekend. Just don't think that this year is it - bummer. Wish that I could meet you all. Darn - maybe a reschedule can work. I'll have to check on it but rooms are very expensive and not sure if we can afford it. Chicago is a very expensive place to visit but also very nice.
