My mom's CA125 was 88. I was told 40% of cases of elevated CA125 have metastasized. She is having a hysterectomy next Tuesday. Says she feels very bloated?

    elevated CA-125
I have never heard that information about an elevated CA-125 pre-surgery. However, if it's true, it means that 60 percent of the cases have NOT metastasized. Try not to worry too much before your mother's surgery; you will have answers to many of your questions only after complete staging is performed.
