    update
well today we got his CT scan result. Doc say tumor had shrank about 50% which is pretty good and cancer cell control well, treatment working well too so now his off for another 2 more cycle of chemo follow up by CT again and see what next. meantime we did tell doc that we are concern about his breathless but its seem like doc don care anyway.. say its common. hopping to get good result again for his next ct scan.

    chemo treatment
I have squamous cell. Had the first treatment Wed. and I'm going to have it 3 weeks chemo and then the exam in between so this is different than I had before.

I read your page, granny maggie
You are a real trouper and a warrior with a great attitude - I think we all have our pity-parties whether we admit to it or not, but the lasting thing is the way we face our cancer head on and full steam ahead (how's that for mixed metaphors!) and keep on doing the next thing! The next things are likely to be even better - half the meds we use routinely now barely even existed ten years ago :-)

my best wishes for a new recovery,

    Hi There
I read your story also and I think you are incredible. Your attitude should be bottled and sold. I have grandchildren also and I know that when I went through all of the tests they were at the forefront of my thoughts always. Three year old twin boys. With your attitude I truly believe you will do well and I wish you great success in your fight.

You are an inspiration! I love your spirit and attitude. Sorry that I do not have any info on the chemo combo you will be taking but I am sure that someone will post who has. God bless and stay strong.
    Hugs

    thanks for the support
Today is the third day of the chemo and I could be doing alot better. I'm really tired and I was sick to my stomach but the Dr. gave me pills to take for nausea. We are a strong group of people and all of you inspire me also so I will say a prayer that everything will work out because I won't give up. I'm Irish and I'm stubborn. Good luck to you.
