Diagnosed with both 4 days apart in April 2010. Believe me, I asked. I was told that it is not uncommon for a woman to develop both cancers over the course of her lifetime because many of the risk factors are the same. There are several women on this board who have also had breast cancer and since I also hang out on the breast cancer board, I know there are women there who have also had endometrial cancer. A risk of taking Tamoxifen is developing endometrial cancer, but there are many women who had endo cancer B4 breast cancer.
Are we at risk for developing breast cancer because we had endometrial cancer? I don't know, but our risks for developing any cancer are higher once you've had cancer. Must be that terrain thing again.
I am just curious. I just turned 43 and was diagnosed with endo IIB, II, G3 last November. I have 2 more treatments to go, out of 18.
I am curious, because I have implants since 2007. My onco said they are saved, but I have a little, very soft lump around my aureola. Apparently is from the implant being encapsulated. I was due fro surgery last December, but instead I had radical hysterectomy.

There's a reason for my screen name

I am sorry you have to deal with both.
