FISHING (or try to) cant feel my fingers but still gonna go. Taking the kayak this time!

Valiant guy, Kenny!.Take care of your hands!.
Do You remember was going to ask you for something?.Well let's go with the question. There is and old movie that I like very much , I know is not a great movie but I like it.It is " Man,s favorite sport" with Rock Hudson and Paula Prentis, don't know if you remember but was fun for me, it's a comedy about fishing , well the question :I always been attracted for the place where it was filmed , it's a nice lake with a very typical lodge from the 60,s.
In the movie was called lake "Waccapoudgie or so " but obviously that's not it's real name!.Cut not find any info in the Internet as it says that has been filmed mainly on an stage ,but obviously there is a real lake there so this lake must exist! .You great fisherman supporter!do you know where is it,or may be ask to some of your fishing friends if they know about?.I know it's a seally question but it's been something that I been trying to rearch since I was a kid!.Well sorry for put you this errand ! aahahaha. Just do what you can my dear friend!.
Hugs and have a great fishing!.

Well Ron hope more calm waters and wind his time!
    take care!

    Same Same
Different day same conditions. The guy who owns the boat got sick as a dog so I told him we should go home. Did not get thumped as bad but it was a 5m boat powered by a 115 yammy and had the potential to hurt me. Ron.

    Lawn furniture.
In the category of just puttering around: I put a coat of tung oil finish on some eucalyptus lawn furniture, to keep it from getting that silvery gray weathered look that some people like, on teak or eucalyptus, but I don't care for.

    Lake Waccapugi
The lake in Man's Favorite Sport was Lake Waccapugi. It doesn't seem to be a real place. Here is a youtube clip from the movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFTfrSzLidQ

    Well it's Sunday afternoon
and I'm just now posting...we went and bought a new riding lawnmower today as we only have an old push mower and we have about an acre and it is kind of hilly. An all day event with the ol' mower. Since Robert is starting chemo again June 3, keeping the lawn under control would present a problem. So we had fun figuring it out and zipping over the grass and asking ourselves "What took us SOOOO long?????????"

Hi all, This is a late post,

Hi all, This is a late post, but Rick and I just got home from a six day vacation in Orlando, Fl. We had a great time! We visited Sea World, spent the day at a water park, went on an air boat ride where we saw alligators, bald eagles and other beautiful wild life. And last night we spent the evening walking around Downtown Disney and listening to some great musical performers. I didn't want it to end, it was nice to forget about cancer for a little while. Ah well, we're now back to real world, with Rick's first new chemo treatment starting tomorrow morning. But I'm so glad that we spent such a fun week together, so many wonderful memories to cherish... Luv and hugs to everyone, Cynthia

    Hi Pepe, Rick is actually

Hi Pepe, Rick is actually feeling and looking just great at the moment. He did all of the rides at the water park and floated along a "river" for over two hours - and he loved it! (He actually had more energy than me!) But all week I kept asking if he was doing ok, and he always said, "I feel perfectly fine!" And to look at him you'd never know that he was sick at all - which is why it's so darn hard for me to believe that he'll be so sick by tomorrow afternoon. I tried hard not to think about the upcoming treatment all week, but I'll admit that it was difficult. None the less, we both had a really fun and relaxing week. I'm so very glad that we went. :-) Take care, Cyn

hope you enjoy the weekend! And David
    feels much better!

    Thanks!
Weekend had a rough start, first with horrible traffic, such that it took us over 1 1/2 hours to travel 25 miles (40k) on a major highway (I-95). Then the room we booked smelled too much of cleaning fluids (so much that I could taste them) and there were no other rooms available. We'd had trouble finding one room, as this was a major college graduation weekend in the area. We finally found a room in a different town at around 9:30 at night. However, once we were settled in our new accommodations, everything else went well.

David was doing much better and we had a wonderful day on Saturday with our future daughter-in-law. Peabody-Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts is well worth the time. We went back for a few hours today - Dutch Masters exhibit.
