I just heard from Lori. Her son passed away a short while ago....... Peace be with her family.

I'm so very sorry. I can't imagine the devastation you must be feeling, losing a child. Again, we are so very sorry.

Lori, so very sorry on your son's passing. I cannot speak on what it is to lose a child, but I know from your posts have very much he meant to you and how well you took care of him - especially fighting your own battles as well.

Life is so very unfair and I never understand how these things happen to such nice people.

Peace and comfort to you in the coming days. I wish I had something wise to say, but your story has touchd all of our hearts.

There is nothing that I can say that everyone here has not. I do want to say that I also lost my middle son almost 5 years ago so I know your pain. I am still having a difficult time talking about it. When you are already, please pm me and we can talk or not. We can say just cry. I will let you make the first move but I will look forward to that day.

It was a very tough day today. It was his birthday and I spent it making funeral arrangements. But, he told me last week that he wouldn't be here for his birthday because he didn't want to spend another birthday being sick. I am looking at that as a Mother's Day gift. He is no longer sick and he is finally cured.

I too just recently lost a child, there is no greater pain, and I know its little to no comfort but I will say it anyway, your son's pain is no more, he truly is safe and happy now, and in time your hurt will be tolerable.

You and your family are in my prayers...
