    Ok friend, more information please
Pepe, just where is your pain?

Do you have a port and it is near that?

Did you sleep on it wrong?

    Did you carry something heavy?

Were you out playing rugby and get taken down?

Whatever the cause I hope the pain goes away very soon.

    Hugs,

Could you have slept funny on it?
or where is your port? Is it on the left side? Lots of reasons your shoulder could be hurting

Don't think mets - think muscle pull.

    Could be nothing but..
Any number of reasons come to mind - and all depend on the character, timing, intensity, quality etc. of the pain. Probably musculo-skeletal just based on percentages but if it is lingering and bothering you enough to write about here - I'd suggest you discuss it with your nurse or Doc just to be sure. Even though your port is on the opposite side you could still develop a venous clot that is causing the pain - unlikely but you'd want to know.

    Pain
Know how you feel about every little pain. We hate anything that doesn't feel normal anymore and it's awful. It could be something as simple as a pulled muscle or just an ache. Hope you feel better soon.

No experience with the pain but thinking of you
always always the mets are in the back of the mind lurking. Good to name it; they hate the light.

    shoulder pain
    Hi Pepe,

I had pain like you are describing after my chemo. It happened for the first 5-6 treatments. It was very painful. The doctor said it had nothing to do with the chemo, but I had never had pain like that before. She sent me for an MRI which revealed nothing. I never got an answer to why I was having the pain. Eventually, it went away and never came back. But of course, any pain we have we always think mets. I don't think we will ever get over that.

Hope you are doing well Pepe. Anna

Yep, and I just had xrays a couple weeks ago, all good. It's the tendons. ONC said sometimes with all the scar tissues, nerves are all out of whack and you get displaced pain.
