survivor-who? silly question I am sure----
This may sound silly-but who is considered a surviror? I had breast cancer 2008-surgery, radiation & 2+yrs tomoxifen. Compared to many mine was nothing-no complications, hardly any issues with skin (treatment) only missed 2 1/2 wks of work.

Any tips for lumpectomy vs. mastectomy? How about radiation?
I only have 4 more chemo tx's to go, then surgery. My surgeon says it will be my decision as to whether I want a lumpectomy or mastectomy; the survival rate is virtually the same. I say, "take whatever is necessary!" But I'm getting a little scared as it approaches. I had a terrible experience with an anesthesiologist when…

When your hair was growing back in.....
did anyone experience tenderness on your scalp? I have several "sore spots" and wondered if this is normal? (I'm happy to even have hair, but why does it have to hurt!?) ♥ Cat

Well, it turns out that neither of my abscesses was causing the fever. I had a UTI that was resistant to the antibiotic I was taking for the abscess. The cultures from the abscess were clear, but I had a resistant strain of ecoli in my urine. I had no idea I had any issues with my Urinary tract because I was having no…
