DCIS & Radiation
Just dx w/DCIS. Surgeon is recommending lumpectomy and radiation as well as reconstruction with a plastic surgeon. Seems from what I'm reading this goes hand in hand? I'm scared to death of the radiation!!

I have some swelling in my gums that the dentist said is often caused by hormonal treatments. I told him that I am on femara. He doesn't know if that is a known side effect. Has anyone had this problem?

Hi all- I just received CA15-3 and CA27.29 marker numbers today and although they are in the normal range, they are still a little higher than the last ones. I am new to what the numbers mean but am panicky because they went up, if even slightly. Anyone else know about the markers??? Thank you!!!
