Extreme Hot Flashes
I have had extreme hot flashes since taking Tamoxifen like many other ladies/gentlemen. I have always been the type of person to get super hot easily, humidity also very uncomfortable which we get yearly. However, natural hot flashes were nearly gone before cancer came (I am 55) and was treated with good old Tamoxifen like…

Has anyone heard from Kari and Laurissa?
Hi lovely sisters -- I haven't been here for a few days, but I've been thinking about Kari and Laurissa and wondering if I missed any news? Has anyone heard anything from them? Hope everyone is doing well. I've joined the group on facebook and keep myself informed about other sisters there too.

Biopsy is Friday
Biopsy was delayed because nobody told me to stop taking vitamins and oils (Fish Oil). Oh well, it's this Friday. I told her to tell him to biopsy the…

Very exciting cancer news this past week....

What they are doing (my simplified take on it) is taking immune cells from an individual cancer patient and then coating them with a cancer protein and also a protein that helps to prevent resistance (think transplant type…

What to do with bald head?
Thanks to everyone who responded to my question about what to expect after the 2nd A/C treatment! I had it Tuesday and my hair started going on Thursday. My hairdresser/friend came to my house and clipped/buzzed it in private which I greatly appreciated. So, there's still just a little left, but not messy. But how do you…
