As I was lighting my candle for Lesley I felt this overwhelming sense of love that we all have for each other. I could picture candles being lit one by one all over the country for her and the warmth and light from each one. I felt communal in love and in spirit with Lesley and all of us. Not to pat ourselves on the back…

Dissolveable stitches?
A friend of mine that just recently had a lumpectomy had dissolveable stitches, but, she says there are still 2 hanging out. I think it's been about a month or so since her surgery. Book of the month
Just finished Room by Emma Donoghue. It was awesome. The narrator of the entire book was a 5 year old boy who has never been out of a room that he and his mom are being kept prisoner in by a psycho. It is so amazingly written. I couldn't put it down--it was like go away world, I have to finish this. Has anyone else read it?

Not sure if that is important. My kidney functioning is also down :-(. GFR is now 59, down from ~100 at start of zometa in 4/09. I see my onc on…

Candle lighting in memory of Lesley
What do you all think about lighting a candle this evening in memory of Lesley? I thought about this yesterday but was reminded today when I saw Marcia's photo. We did this once before since I've been a member and I believe we lit up the sky from the west coast to the east coast. May she rest in peace. UPDATE: To make this…
