So far, so good.  Onco took me off Arimidex.  I was practically triple neg with ER- PRslightly positive HER2-  He said its doing me more harm than good at this point since I have osteoporosis.

The bone scan ordered by my rheumatologist did not show any bone met, yeah!Her ordeed Hepatitus test was negative.  I had HEP when I was in my early thirties.  Infectious mono and hepatitus.  Don't know where I got it, never used drugs, in fact it was the kind that you can get from dirty utensils but HEP can rear its ugly head decades later as liver cancer.  So that's clear, Yeah!

The only problem is the diagnose of IBS from my gastroenterologist.  The onco wants to rule out liver mets as the pain is in the same area.  In fact, he's using this as justification to do a skull to mid thigh PET scan.  I should feel that any opportunity to get a report of NED is welcome, but now I'm afraid of the PET showing up mets.

 

I'm not really good at not stressing over these tests!  The PET is scheduled for 10/8.  That should give us plenty of time to get the pink bus!

Look at it this way....a PET Scan is the very best thing to show ANY cancer anyplace on your body.... I've had about 3 of them so far........they just take a little longer is all....don't plan on doing a lot that day besides the Scan.     And....you KNOW not to let yourself get scared over something you can't control...... you are getting good news and in a Good News Cycle Girl.... STAY THERE.   Hugs, Glo

My PET for this Thursday has been cancelled.  The insurance company wants me to have CAT instead.  The date for the CAT is this Tuesday the 13th and a follow up at the doctor's office for results on Thursday the 15th.  Sort of wanted to get this overwith.  Still asking for prayers my sisters.

Sending good thoughts. It's hard to wait for tests, harder still to wait for results. I could tell you to find something to keep you busy, but that's just silly -- I've never been able to keep my own self busy enough not to worry, why would I expect it of someone else. Instead I'll suggest visualizing your huge sigh of relief when your're hearing "You're fine, nothing wrong."
