Tattoos and CT/PETcombo scans

lI wonder if the following,which applies to cervical cancer,may also apply toCRC or other cancers (the only tatts i got are the three sets i got for radiation)

    Interesting!

    I didn't even get tats when I had radiation, as my Rad Onc used stickers. 

    I'll be sure not to get a tat on me bum. Just in case it messes with my readings.

    I got tats, but the ones on my thyes seem to have faded to the point where they no longer can be seen, Its more than 5 yrs since being  needed to aim the lazers for my radiation.  I like being NED!!!!!

    Was when marking the tumor during the colonocsopy.

    I walked around telling people I got my first ink Cool  But now it is gone Cry  But so is the bad part of my colon.  Cool

    Wonder what the details are on the tattoos.  Recent ones that may still be healing or certain things in the inks?  Perhaps it is in the full article.

    Same here

    I tried the whole act-like-a-badass-because-I-had-a-tat routine right after my colonoscopy, telling friends that I'd gotten a tattoo. First, they refused to believe me and then, when I told them where it was located, I got nothing but eye rolls.
