Hospital again

in Head and Neck Cancer #1

well I'm in hospital again blocked bowel. my luck has left me lately, my beloved partner died on Thursday he was my rock through this Cancer. He had pulmonary fibrosis. He became ill with a viril lung. I sat with him 3 days he seemed to be getting better then when I was by his hospital bedside he went into spasms and was given morphine, he lasted another half hour. I was talking and stroking his head till he died. I've been unable to eat a fortnight prior to that because of agonising pains in my stomach And the worry for him. I'm like a skeleton wrapped in skin. Now it's my turn to get better my op scheduled for tomorrow moriNing. It's not a very quiet hospital there building works going on under the window. Prayers for my departed love and for me please

    So sorry to hear of his passing, may he be at peace. You have been through so much and back in hospital again. You know I will always keep you both in my prayers. Please get better soon them well go getting well.

    Oh Jackie.....

    I am so sorry....my heart is aching for you.  What a huge loss for you, my dear.....I wish I had words that would ease the pain.  Sending you many prayers, and positive thoughts on your surgery....This is one of those times I wish all I had to do is run across town to be there in person for you.  We'll be here when you wake up from the surgery....

    I can feel the presence of Pete all around me, I don't know when the soul leaves the body but I feel he's here. He's downstairs 4 levels below me. I can't make funeral arrangements yet. Do you believe he's still beside me I can feel almost smell him.

    This is surely amongst the worst dark days of your life. I am so very sorry to hear about your partner; a shock to me as his condiion was not known to me. And your constant digestive battles seem a constant issue since treatments. You have so much going on it must be very easy to take care of yourself.  Please think about your health and try hard to gain an ounce here and there. I'm certain your partner is watching over you too and encouraging you to get better yourself. God bless you.

    He Is Beside You

    I am not exactly sure what happens when we die, but I am sure our spirit lives on and that the spirit,  that presense, is with us and in the world always.  My payers are with you, hang in there and its time for you to have some good things happen, this may be the time.

    Hey Jackie,

    I am very sorry for your loss, you have my deepest sympathies and condolences.  I am also sorry that you are having continuing painful medical issues requiring hospitalization and surgery.  I trust that by the time you read this that the surgery went successfully well, that you are on the mend, and feeling better physically.  Here's sending you my best wishes, and positive thoughts for a rapid problem free recovery.

It is so hard dealing with this stuff and at the same time having you partner in life pass away before your eyes; My heart goes out to you.     So very sorry for your loss. Sometimes the crap thrown at us seems too overwhelming, just keep thinking it ain't holding me back and fight like hell. Victory is always sweeter after a hard fight.

    the op went successfully. Felt very weak and washed out. Maybe now I can get myself better. I go home tomorrow. The funeral has to be planned now , my daughter has done most of it. She's taken so much on her shoulders. Thank you for your best wishes and condolences.

    You have a wonderful daughter as you know, to step up and take the burden off you at that time. You are always in my prayers.

    Good News Among the Bad

    Great that the operation went well and that you are on your way to healing physically.  The emotional healing may take longer, but it too will come to pass.  Keep up your strength and be well.
