I am out enjoying myself a lot

My pain issues resolved and my energy coming back, and weary from all the tests, etc. I took a break. I only sneak peeks now and then to see how y'all are doing.

I had a ct scan of my lungs again (three month call) and the "thingy" is waning. Another scan in three months then I am on a six month call back. I hate having all the scans but believe it is warranted since the doctor is calling for it.

I am so glad to be done with the biopsy procedures, etc. at least for the time being. I am still getting the IgGinfusions every month for the CVID diagnosis, which apparently I was born with. None of my test results showed positive for HPV. Because of the infusions I now know what good health feels like for the first time in my life. Immunogobulin G is the body's first line of defense and I was at 20% of low normal or 80% deficient, which explains a lot. Health feels uncanny. I never want to lose it again. I still do Bikram Hot Yota and am very strong and focused. I knitted cowls and scarves for all my doctors and therapists over Christmas. I was like a mini-factory!

My husband is experiencing some health issues for the first time just as I am feeling better. He had a bone marrow biopsy last week. We will know the results tomorrow.

    All the best,

    Sandy

    Sandy

So happy you seem to be doing well.

Knolltop has made no entries since Oct. I think.  Do you know how she is doing?

I hope your husband's biopsy turns out ok.

    Hi Sandy!

Whew!  I am SO glad to hear from you!  I was worried when you hadn't posted in awhile, but now I know why.  What a busy bee you've been!  I'm so glad to know that you are feeling much better and I hope that lung "thingy" is giving up and calling it quits.  I'm sorry to hear about your husband not feeling well and I certainly hope that biopsy comes back with all good news.  I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.  Hugs!

    Hello!

"I am out enjoying myself a lot"

I am so very glad to hear this. I only know of what you went through for sure since I joined in about August 2014, but it was bad enough! It's wonderful that the worse seems to be behind you and receding in the rear view mirror.

I just had a bone marrow biopsy, myself. ("It won't hurt." Yeah, SURE it won't!) The cells all are normal in my case; I hope your husband's results are the same. A heating pad helped with my bone pain, by the way. I hope your sweety is back in the sadlle soon, as I've heard that motocycles go bad if they are left unridden for too long - use it or lose it!

    .^_^.

    Oh gosh!

Sorry to leave that tidbit hanging. My husband is fine. Although there is no motorcycling here. We got another eight inches of snow and haven't seen the ground since early January. Too bad to, since he just bought a new BMW bike.

I sat through a six hour opera this year and a few other three and a half hour operas. I for such a long time could not sit without excrutiating pain it feels like nothing short of a miracle. Even my physiologist said it may not be a realistic expectation to ever be able to sit for any more than an hour for me. So I am really grateful to be able to go to the Met again.

    All the best

It's so good to see you back here and I'm glad to know you are doing well and so is your husband.

Seems our "sitters" all took a hit with this treatment, but we're still here to enjoy the music!  Take care, my sweet friend!

    Happy news!

    Hi Sandy,

Still being relatively new to this forum, I am not as familiar with all of the wonderful "regulars" here who continue to bring encouragement to newbies like me. You, also, have had some very encouraging and uplifting posts for me and I am so happy that your health and life seem to be back on the upswing! You definitely give me hope!

I am also glad to hear that your husband is well. As in my relationship, it's not always easy, but I am very grateful that my husband has really "stepped up to the plate" to assist me on my journey. Maybe that's due to this control freak nurse wife having to defer to his advice and accept his strength and support....nah! Lol!Wink
