Another RAD GRAD

Yippee! Today was my last treatment from radiation. It was a bitter sweet moment when I left today! Believe me I am so happy to be done but I will surely miss my radiation technicians. They took very good care of me and I am so blessed to have had such great care.

Now to move on to the next step in my journey and that is the Armidex for five plus years.

Kudos on finishing radiation.

Arimidex is a fine drug.  I wish that I was stil on it.

Best wishes to you,

Congrats.  I am so happy for you.

I wish I was where you are.  I still have 2 more chemo tx, then 33 rads, then Arimidex.

Your thread gives me hope.  Thanks for posting.

Congrats Jenifer, I finished mine last week and started Tamoxifen 2 days ago. I have to take Calcuim too on a daily basis, do you have to take it also?

Good luck

Yes I will have to take calcium and also Vit D. I was low on Vit D so my onc prescribed D2 50,000 IC one a week for 8 weeks. I will start my Armidex on July 20th. Hopefully no side effect.

Good Luck to you to Faith.

Thanks to everyone.

I cannot believe how much energy I have. Did not realize just how fatigued I was. I just tried to go one each day as normal as possible and did not miss any work. But NOW I am back to doing things that I did not feel like doing (cleaning, cooking). I actually have more energy now than I actually did before I was diagnosed. Seems strange. A

Anyway thanks again.
