Hi Cindy, my neuropathy was really improved with accupunture and eventually I bought a "Rebuilder" myself because my insurance co wouldn't approve it. My neuropathy was to the point that I couldn't feel my right foot or know where it was!  My left foot felt like I was walking on a hockey puck in the ball of my foot. The Rebuilder is a battery operated device using seperate wells of water for each foot and placing electrodes in each well and the current supposedly retrains your nerves. It has worked well for me but I've gotten lazy with the improvement. I noticed they are prescribing something new to prevent it called MetaNX. This is a quote from someone else on this site.

"It is a strengthened form of folic acid , B6 and B12 vitamins, you take 1 tablet twice a day. I started one week before starting Taxol and continued one month after I stopped. It has no side effects it is active form of above mentioned vitamins. Most insurance companies will not pay for it as it is vitamin supplement. Approximately costs $50/month."

I'm going to give this a try because even though I'm 2 years out from end of treatment because I still need to use my Rebuilder if my feet feel worse again. They are much improved but vacillate and are far from normal. I am in my 60s so probably don't/won't heal as well as a younger person. Congrats on finishing Taxol and I hope the neuropathy heals completely. jojo2

I've never had neuropathy, but, from what I have heard and read of it, it is very painful.  I hope it goes away forever for you.
