YES!  I got an email stating that I won the Nigerian lottery!  ALL I have to do is send them some money and the millions are MINE!  YIPPEE!

This is about the millionth ( if that is a word ) time that I have won.  I guess I need to send the money to get my millions out of the country.  Do you think?  LMAO

Let's see, what should I do with all of that money?  How about I pay for all of us pink sisters to have a big, happy,  wonderful reunion somewhere warm and beautiful!  How does that sound?  And, wouldn't that be fun?

So, who wants me to send the Nigerian bank some money?  Anyone?

I'm surprise it is still around?  Who would fall for something like that.  If you won, you don't send anything, they send it to you?

Send them a telegram and ask when you can receive the $$$, you want a certified check or something.  Don't give them my email address, I think they drop me off their lists.

Best,

Doris

it is still around.  Although, I haven't gotten one for a long time, voila, there it was in my email today.

The sad fact is that some do fall for this kind of stuff.  Maybe not this particular one, but, they do fall prey for other scams.

And, I think scams are on the rise with the economy and all of the new tech stuff anymore.

I will send them a note back and ask that they send me my millions on good faith.  LOL  I am sure I will be receiving my millions then.

You sure you don't want me to include your email Doris?  Then you could get these wonderful opportunities to be wealthy too?

I saw a program on this once.  20/20 or something in that line and if I remember correctly, those people kept moving around their country so were hard to catch.  People unfortunately send them money.

My son had one of those FBI warnings scams.  It stated that you must send them money via paypal.  Since it was his first time, they wouldn't report him to the FBI unless the money was received within 48 hours.  He had to take his computer to a local tech and it cost him money to have his laptop re-imaged and put on a new firewall.  He didn't keep up with the firewalls.  He showed me what it looked like and it looked real.

I went online typed in "FBI scam" and of course found lots of informatin.  One did say to try certain key combos but it didn't work.

Well, keep hoping they make a mistake Susie and send you a little $$$.  I wish them carpal tunnel syndrome.  How is that for a revengeful curse!

Ah, Cinnamonsmile, you didn't send them any money, it takes money to make money.  LOL!

Ah well, we all need to win the big one, in my case, I never play.  I have yet to win anything even in a school raffle.  If they were 10 tickets and I bought 9, that 1 ticket would win that wasn't mine.

So I don't play and I now tell the students, sorry unless it is for a really good cause.  Then I think of it as a donation.

I am unlucky in the stars or whatever,

Doris

Geesh Cinnamonsmile, that might put a hold up on my money then, if they are still trying to come up with your winnings.  LOL

I won't hold my breathe, but when you do get your winnings Susie and Cinnamonsmile, I'll help planning the pinkies reunion trip.

I have gotten some of those too, but, I never sent any money ( like I really would lol ) and never received any money.  Maybe it is just held up somewhere and I will still become a millionaire.  HA

Dr. Phil had a woman on the other day that had sent, I think, about $180,000 to someone that she had been emailing to on one of those dating sites.  It was so sad as Dr. Phil pointed out and proved that that person was not real, but, the poor woman didn't totally believe him.  I think she was so far into it financially, that she just didn't want to know that she had been scammed.

I saw that Dr. Phil show too Pink Rose and just could not believe how that woman still believed that guy was real and I think was still going to send him more money.

I just sat there with my mouth open as I just couldn't believe her.

Good luck Susie getting that money!  LOL  Dr. Phil has had a lot of those shows and I find them so interesting.  It is horrible how what they call "catfish" do that to people. MEAN!

Hey Georgia, that sounds good too!  Maybe too good to be true again?  lol

I keep getting some from the FBI.  I ignore them.  But, if I suddenly go missing, you might want to come looking for me.

A reunion of the pink sisters would be fun and paid for by you Susie?  Cool!  Although, I doubt you will ever receive the millions they say you have coming to you.  :(

I have a secondary email address I use to order stuff, use it rarely, a few things here and there from Amazon.  This email is overrun by junk mail, lengthy crap from Nigeria, one kind lady who is suffering from cancer (???) is leaving me $12 mio., the usual high government official or two who need to move money out of the country, people stranded in London who need to transfer money, name it and I get it.  Lots of offers from a Canadian Pharmacy, like Viagra, no way to unsubscribe on that website.  In the last months also kinky sex offers, sexy ladies, and, oh yes, enlarge my manhood by Big Willie.  If I wouldn't spend so much time with playing Solitair I'd have shut that email address down by now.

Oh my gish Margeaux, I get those stupid Canadian Pharmacy Viagra's ones too.  lol  I can block them on my email, so, I get a lot less anymore.  Ofcourse they keep changing emails, but, it works pretty well.  Can you do that?  Block some of them at least?

Just send me your email addy, Susie and I can send it to them.  I receive this kinky willie and pharmacy offers out of Canada (so they say) in a folder called SPAM and I never open any of them, mass delete once a week.  What delights I might be missing!   I'll never know!

Are you sure you want to be added on?

I also have another addy for Amazon Margeaux and also get those. I don't get them in my other email, so, I think Amazon is the culprit behind them. I just block, block, block and then delete them all.

Hi Pinks:

How is this for a laugh - now I am getting messages about Facebook, here is one:

Hi sexy - just saw your picture on Facebook, can we chat?  Signed - imyourdirtygirl, online & horny!  Considering I am not on facebook and a nearly 80 year old broad, it's kind of funny.  Hopefully it will stop one of these days.  Very much suspect Amazon, they are the only ones I purchases stuff from and after that it started.

That is funny Margeaux!  I get all kinds of crap in my email box too, but, I've not gotten anything like that, well, not yet anyway.  It would be nice to know where those people do get our email addy's though, wouldn't it?

Amazon, big brother of the internet.  They know it all.  If you own a Kindle, everything you do while reading, stop at a specific place, write in margins, they know.  No privacy at all.

I think the junk email comes from most of the sites we are on.  It is sad that we have no privacy anymore, but, I don't think there's much we can do about it.

I don't think this site sells our info or gives it to sponsors, since there are no sponsor driven ads on here. Surprised  Sites like Amazon, Facebook etc. have so many sponsors that I think they have to give out our info, which isn't right.
