Do you think the bus could swing by gynecologic oncology with me tomorrow? I have my exam and Pap smear tomorrow and have a case of cancerhead. There is absolutely no reason to think there is anything amiss, but protocol says I have to be checked just in case, so my little mind tends to go to the dark side every 4 months. My appointment is at 10:40 so I know by at least 11:15 I'll be calm again and ready to party with you all. July 1, 2012 will be 2 years and I think I'll only need you once or twice a year then. I'm hoping for once.

Got my breast MRI appointment this afternoon. It's December 20 at 9:30.

    Oh Suzanne I know that dark place you refer to...it's so hard not to worry, but we must try to stay positive, always. I will be on that bus for you. I pray your results are good and there is NOTHING to worry about, EVER.

    Even though I feel good, I start to hyperventilate when appt time rolls around, so I know how you feel. What shall I bring? Diet or decadent?

    I will getting off the bus to join you during your appointments. It gets so cold in office.

    I made for us. FANCY, I tell ya.. water cress and goat cheese,
    turkey and cranberry etc. Anyone hungry yet??

    We'll stuff you to the guills so that there is no room left
    for fear to dwell in.

    Exam perfect - I passed.
    As expected. Now to wait for results of pap smear and I have no reason to believe that will be anything but negative. For some reason I don't stress about that, just the exam itself.

    Thank you Vicki Sam for coming in with me. I really appreciated the warm blanket to put over the stupid sheet on my lap while waiting in the cold exam room! I also kept my socks on. Took a couple of those yummy cake pops with me to occupy myself while waiting.

    Thank you all for bringing the bus to the peach side. Those women on the uterine board don't have a bus. I knew I could count on you - any excuse to eat, drink and be crazy together!
