    Today is our girls (first graders) Harvest Festival at their school so we are buzzing with excitement. Having 19 people over at 5pm for burgers and ale, then we will walk up to the school for the Halloween Fest. It really is a wonderful community event, and very old fashioned with pumpkin carving, cake walks, haunted house, prize games....

    Saturday time to clean out the garage so I can get my car in there before the snow comes
    Sunday Haloween Motorcycle Run.......anual event raises money for handicap kids. Good time also..

    is off to the NASCAR Talladega race (this is a 2x/year ritual for him-we are only 15 miles from the track). Weekend of camping, BBQ, racing and a few cold beers. I get to go to work.
    I am trying to scrape up $$$ so I can get him a 6 lap run on the racetrack driving a race car for his Christmas present. SHHHhhhhh don't tell him!

    still at ian gawler cancer retreat, tonight we had harp concert
    its been an amazing few days. i have learnt lots.
    just lots of meditation, lectures, love and good food.

    Friday night movies. Saturday night rugby (watching, that is! -- and on TV). Sunday dim sum (yum) with friends then Canasta (cards) with other friends-- happy!

    My youngest has a soccer
    My youngest has a soccer game this morning. it should be a gorgeous morning in Vegas today. the highs have been about 90 still, but that makes for some nice mornings and evenings. my older daughter is going to her first highschool dance tonight, "homecoming,". lots of hair and make up duties such as driving her around! Tony had 2nd treatment yesterday so I hope he is up for these events! have a good weekend,everyone.
