    surprise
I was supposed to have chemo yesterday and it got postponed a week -- so I have an unexpected free (and feeling good) weekend. Hoorah! What to do? What to do? Dinner with friends, gym, maybe some shopping? It's a treat.

    Hi Pepe
Planning to go up to our cabin in the mountains for some repair work in between the rain showers. Although the work needs to be done, I hope the forecasted rain arrives as there is a fire burning about 5 miles north of the community. The forest service wants to let it burn out on its own which makes me very nervous. I've seen too many of these "let it alone fires" that become a real disaster. So, we may be trying to save our valuables instead. Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

    Luv,

    Wolfen

I have seen this disasters very often in TV, specially this huge
fires in the US, and Australia, ( big size countries big size fires) hahaha!. here is the opposite as son a fire spot burns fire department and forestalls are there to control it, summer in some areas of Spain is very dangerous for fires, very bushy and dry and hot in summer so an uncontrolled fire would burn half a county !.
Take care of the fire my dear !Hugs!

    Sleeping. Not feeling too
Sleeping. Not feeling too well. Went to the doc for exam and she started asking me if I wanted kids I looked at her and said "I don't understand what you are trying to say." Do they ask men these stupid questions? (I must say that I am the world's best Auntie.)

    Shopping?
Hi. Recently diagnosed with colon cancer {about 3 weeks ago} Will start chemo in about 3 weeks. Guess I'll go shopping for wigs? Guess I'll tell my weekend friends about my recent diagnosis and tell them not to expect me to show up for about 6 months? Guess I'll enjoy this time before chemo starts? Guess I'll research more options for financial assistance online? Guess I'll research more of what to expect? Thanks for reading.

Not going to be so pleasant
Unfortunately tomorrow will be spent at my good friend's funeral. *sigh*

Sunday will be all church, most of the day. I have a lunch and a meeting after the regular service. Yay! Not so much...

    *hugs*

    Shopping for Wigs
    Melodie,
I was told I may not lose my hair on Folfox so did not need a wig. I finished Chemo with thinning hair but did not need a wig. I used the 3 weeks to research as well. The chemo diet was helpful. I printed out the Diet from this site and shopped for good food and upgraded my pantry. We will be here for you.
