What vitamins are you ladies taking since finishing treatments? I haven't really had a whole discussion with my onco. about this and she really only mentioned taking vitamin D. I haven'e been able to take my multivitamin while I was in treatment (chemo/rads) and was wondering if I could go back to them. I would like to take a fish oil pill and maybe a B12.
Any suggestions would be helpful!

chris.

Vitamin d3 2000 - super-strength, Ca, Omega3 -fish. Talk to your oncologist they should check vitamin D level in your blood.

    During chemo just
During chemo just Calcium/Vitamin D and glucosimine. Oncologist said every woman should take a calcium/vitamin D supplement. The radiation oncologist added a stress multivitamin and vitamin C.

    nothing during treatments
My MO said nothing during treatments but he now has me on men'a one-a-day and fiber capsules - no soy. Of course I was E+ so that may have something to do with his directives.

    Not taking any
Chris, I haven't taken a multi vit. since completing chemo although I have thought about it. May I suggest to you to have your vit. B12 levels checked when they give you a blood test, mine were way over the range so I have ample amount and would not want to take B12 because of overload. I requested that test by the way. My Vit. D was at a good range also but I take D a couple of times a week and get sun just to maintain it. Never took fish oil but I eat fish a couple of times a week.
    Hope that helps.

    I used to take calcium
I used to take calcium tablets, but, they upset my stomach, so, now I just take a multivitamin and potassium tablets when I get foot cramps.
