Dear ones,

To say that the last few weeks have been difficult for all of us...losing Heidi and Moopy so suddenly, bad news and setbacks for others...there’s probably no way to put our sadness and anger and fear into words that would be enough.

When words fail me, I wish –- and many of you have wished aloud, too -– that I could just give each and every one of you a big hug. Maybe a few of us can.

I’m going to plan lunch at a local restaurant next Saturday or Sunday –- either Saturday, January 22nd or Sunday, January 23rd. I’ll find a good place in the Woodland Hills area of the San Fernando Valley. I know that only a small group of you are nearby, but any and all who can make it are invited to share hugs, tears, memories, and support each other.

Please let me know if you’re interested, and which day you would prefer.

    I was just longing to hug (and get hugged). Just feeling a need to connect with each other.

    My parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on the 22nd, so I couldn't make it that day, but if it ends up on the 23rd - I'll be there!

    I am trying to re-organized my schedule .. It's my son's
    birthday .. I'll let you girls know .. if I am able to attend.

    I'm right near there, near West Hills. It's my mom's birthday weekend, but I'll do my best to make it. I think we're all feeling raw and hurt and scared. Keep us posted.

    Yes a gathering of "Muscle Girls" is so needed now. It has been an absolutely grueling time of loss for us.

    It so happens I will be attending a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 22 in Los Angeles. Jana passed away in December from breast cancer. Sunday, January 23rd works better for me.

    If the majority decide with Saturday, run with it. I will make the next gathering. Thanks for making the arrangements Traci.

    I know what you mean, Cindy....My girlfriend hates it when I travel for conferences, because she says she feels better when I'm "where I can put my hands on you." That's how I feel right now -- I'll just feel better if at least some of you are where I can put my hands on you.

    I'm torn -- it looks like Cindy and Ines can do Sunday, and New Flower can do Saturday. What do y'all think? Новая Цветка, if we made it a particularly early or late lunch, do you think you could make Sunday?

    I think faith_trust is also up for it. She's scheduled to be "portless" by next weekend!

    Jennifer, it will be so nice to meet you....are your doctors at West Hills? Maybe we've passed each other and not known it?

    Sorry, I will need something a tad more specific as my Google maps isn't updated to give me the maps of stars' homes, much less the hangouts of cold war agents. What about an olive oil importer on Ventura Blvd? (Just assume I'm pushing my nose to one side and breathing through my mouth)

    New Flower is helping me make sure my brain cells are coming back online since chemo, by forcing me to use them....so I'm sitting here with my Russian dictionary, and I got as far as you have a dentist appointment in Reseda on Saturday....but then I got lost.

    Where we are now is that the majority of folks who've responded can do Sunday....New Flower, what do you think?

    My chemobrain forgot about that!

    Well, if the FBI is not going to be dining in the next booth...although they might learn tons about drug interactions, constipation, reconstruction, and "to nipple or not to nipple."

    If your husband won't be too uncomfortable by the conversation, I say bring him along.

    I can be flexible
    my doc is out of the city on 22. I made an appointment for 29, which means I will be in San Fernando Valley 2 times.
    Can we meet in Getty? or Santa Monica?
    Getty museum or Villa what do you think?
